How To Disable Chrome New Tab Page
How do I disable the New Tab Page in Chrome? When opening a new Chrome browser tab, I prefer to want it to be blank, without displaying my bookmarks and most visited sites.
Google has redesigned the New Tab Page in a way and they think it will make it easier for users to access and organize apps. However, for some people, when opening a new tab in Google Chrome showing most visited sites in the New Tab Page is very convenient but sometimes it can be annoying. So, now you can find many complaints from Chrome users who want their old New Tab Page back and disable the new one.

Well, to disable it is really simple. You can get rid of the New Tab Page by setting a default homepage for your Chrome. Or, by installing some Chrome extensions, it is also possible to change the look of it.
With Empty New Tab Page extension, new tabs will display a blank page instead of the usual new tab page with thumbnails. New Tab Redirect! and Define your own new tab! enable you to sets a user-specified URL to load in new tabs.
In a word, it is really unnecessary to get rid of Google Chrome, just because of this one idiotic feature of the latest version of Chrome web browser.
