How to Remove “about the new look” and “Send Feedback” button in Gmail
Want to remove “about the new look” and “Send Feedback” button in Gmail permanently? The new Gmail interface always shows an annoying pop-up type of message with two links for “about the new look” and “Send Feedback”. Even if you have closed the button, it will appear when you open your Gmail account next time. But later, the popup “About the new look” and “Send feedback” is getting on my nerves after the 30th time, how do I permanently get rid of it?
To permanently remove it, you need to become a user of Google Chrome or Firefox as we will use an adblock extension called Adblock Plus to reach the goal. Once you install Adblock Plus add-on, add the following filter: mail.google.com##div[class="GcwpPb-MEmzyf GcwpPb-bEO5kc"], then restart your web browser.
All in all, the Gmail’s new look is attractive but its “about the new look” and “Send Feedback” button has made many users angry! Honestly, these never ending requests for feedback are annoying and make Google seem like a needy child.
It’s annoying not to have a simple “stop nagging me” option. But according to an answer from a Google staff, “we will remove it completely 14 days after you first started using the new look”. LOL, two weeks is too long, and we need to disable it now!
